In the latest episode of Vice.com’s “Munchies” series, Locanda chef Anthony Strong guides a late-night eating tour and talks about his love for San Francisco in general. “We just basically survive on vegetables, and hippie love,” he jokes. “We have drum circles every night.” He heads to Lers Ros with friends Caleb Zigas (La Cocina), Locanda’s PR gal Ashley Bellview, and Karen Rogers (Sprouts Cooking Club) to work their way through the enormous Thai menu. But that’s just the first course!
