Here at Grub Street, we read Joanne Chang’s tasty tweets almost as compulsively as we eat her pastries. What other chef would confess that customers complain about low-quality straws, or ‘fess up to not being able to use an iPhone?
Today, we’re grateful to her for sharing this gem about Boston’s hyper-vigilant meter maids: “How do the meter ppl do it? The minute my meter is up, they’re on it and I have a ticket. Should hire them to pull stuff out of oven for us.”
