
Here’s a funny little tidbit from our friends in New York: Sam Mason, formerly the chef at Tailor and the pastry chef at wd~50, is getting ready to open The Mayonnaise Shop in Brooklyn, possibly the first store in the U.S. dedicated entirely to mayonnaise. It’s going to be both retail outlet and “testing lab” for Mason’s already launched line of Empire Mayonnaise. Oh, and did we mention he makes foie gras mayo? [Grub Street NY]
