Even Though They Sucked This Season, The Giants Will Be Honored at Jardinière Next Monday

As part of their ongoing series of Monday night prix fixe dinners ($45 for three courses with pairings) — and because chef Traci Des Jardins is a baseball fan — Jardinière is presenting a ballpark-themed dinner next week, October 3, in honor of the Giants. The tongue-in-cheek theme is “You Can’t Wine All the Time,” and instead of wine pairings there will be beer pairings included for each course. See the full menu below, which includes rock shrimp “corn dogs” and buttered-popcorn ice cream — and make note that tonight’s menu is in honor of Chez Panisse, featuring some Chez Panisse-y dishes like grilled octopus salad and a roasted Watson Farms lamb.
