By now you know that everyone’s favorite Argentine polo-player-who-shares-a-name-with-a-snack-food, Nacho Figueras, is a man of upscale tastes when it comes to dining out. That doesn’t mean the handsome Porteño can’t get down with food trucks when he’s in L.A., though. On October 9th, Figueras will host the West Coast version of Veuve Cliquot’s Polo Classic, alongside Rachel Zoe and Rodger Berman, at a benefit for Will Rogers State Park. While it’s only fifteen dollars to mingle among all the well-heeled folks wearing giant hats, the food will be that of mere commoners, with eleven food trucks present and bearing such gauche names as FishLips (“oh heavens!”) and Baby’s Badass Burgers (“well, we never”), to provide the day’s dining options. None of which will placate Nacho’s allies if the vodka gets mixed up again. See the list of participating food trucks, below.
