A fire broke out at Thomas Keller’s Bouchon Bakery in Yountville at around 5 a.m. this morning, while the bakery’s early-morning staff was on duty. No one was injured in the one-alarm blaze, which spread to the building’s attic, but firefighters estimate that there was about $100,000 in damages, including water damage in the bakery’s kitchen and damage to the stove. There’s no word yet as to how long the popular bakery will be closed, or what wine country will do in the meantime without their macarons. [KTVU, Press-Democrat]
