This Saturday, Eagle Rock’s Colorado Wine Company is pairing so-called “white trash” food with their wines and brews, finding couplings like tuna pimento cheese balls and bacon baked beans with Spain’s Vina Clavidor Verdejo and Dubaisson Scaldis amber, respectively. How do you say Corn Nuts in French? “Ecru’ de Mais,” apparently. Check out the French-translated menu and get tickets to one of two seatings online (warning: they’re going fast).
