At the height of Dolores Park Labor Day fervor, Bi-Rite Market installed a bouncer yesterday at their front door for the first time we’ve ever heard of, and instituted a one-in-one-out policy. As Uptown Almanac reports, the outside line only took about two and a half minutes, but there’s no word on how long it took to weave through the cramped store and stand in the checkout line after that, all for a bottle of rosé and some crisps.
