Vito’s — the new North End tavern that sells everything from sausage nachos to kimchi quesadillas — opens for lunch at noon on Wednesday. Chef Damien DiPaola realizes that his menu is a little bit wacky, though … so he’s asking his loyal customers to act as friendly guinea pigs as he experiments with various dishes.

Per a rep, DiPaola wants to make sure that he serves up “well-executed eclectic food that any chef would want to eat at the end of the night.” In order to help him out, well, all you, non-chef, have to do is befriend Vito’s on Facebook!

A Facebook friendship entitles you to sample complimentary tastings of an “experimental menu item” at a series of Test Kitchen Mondays, held weekly at the restaurant. Vito’s will post a promotion each week; you’ll have to text DiPaola after he posts each offer to qualify for the tasting. In addition to being quick on the FB trigger, you also need to be over 21, which leads us to believe that alcohol is going to be involved.

Or, if you’ve already jumped on the Google+ bandwagon, you can just enjoy his tried-and-true sausage nachos and Korean chicken wings at lunchtime.
