This time last week it seemed like there was a buyers market for chefs looking for work. This week it’s more like there’s a glut of free culinary agents roaming the city. And you can count Peter Felton, who was recently replaced by Lacroix, Parc, and Le Bec alum Jason Goodman at Farmers’ Cabinet, as one, according to Meal Ticket. You can also add Adsum’s very brief chef de cuisine (he was bumped up from sous chef following Matt Levin’s departure) Rah Shabazz, and sous chef Mark Regan among them too. Foobooz reports that former Hop Angel Brauhaus chef Matthew Harnett has been brought in to rescue the kitchen’s operations there.

Though not a chef, beer blogger Jack Curtain reports that Dock Street’s head brewer Ben Potts has stepped down at the University City brewpub, and is being replaced, for the time being anyway, by Scott Morrison. Morrison is said to be only an interim brewer, because he is also currently consulting for Central PA’s Pizza Boy Brewing.
