Ever since Eater reported on the dramatic kitchen walkout at The Black Sheep, we’ve been waiting patiently to hear what was next for James Toland’s troubled West Town restaurant, but the famously loquacious chef has been oddly quiet for two days. Luckily, in his first public statement since the ordeal began, Toland posted this message on Facebook last night: “We are alive and cooking!!!” Has anyone been to the restaurant since this ordeal began?
