Free Mango Lemonade at Pier 46 Tomorrow; Fourchu Lobsters Are Back at L’Ecole

Chelsea: Tomorrow at 2 p.m., Bolthouse Farms is serving free mango lemonade to those in need of refreshment, at Pier 46 at Hudson River Park. [Grub Street]

Midtown East: The Shop at Andaz 5th Avenue launches a prix fixe menu for the pre-theater crowd. $35 can fill stomachs with three-course meals, including highlights like the roasted tomato and mint soup, chicken schnitzel with organic greens and lemon, and chocolate mud cake with orange slices. Red Hook: It’s the 235-year anniversary of the Battle of Brooklyn come this Saturday, and to celebrate once again, Fort Defiance (this is a real, historical thing, grab a textbook!) will hold an all-day neighborhood block party, with food and drinks for sale. [Facebook]


Soho: Starting tomorrow at L’Ecole, the restaurant of the International Culinary Center has gotten in more rare Nova Scotian Fourchu lobsters, and is serving them with butter and French fries, or as lobster rolls on homemade brioche buns, until supplies run out. [Grub Street]


Upper East Side: The last David Burke’s at Bloomingdales summer dinner series is next Tuesday. For $65 per person, one can enjoy fire cracker chicken spring rolls, tuna tartare, roast duck breast, and, for dessert, cranberry carrot cake, among other tasty options.
