Bucktown: Prepare for some changes at Six Points. Along with a 12-story boutique hotel, Crain’s reports that a Walgreens and Caribou Coffee shop will be popping up at the intersection of Milwaukee, North, and Damen. They both will be going into the former Midwest Bank space. Also, an old auto body shop just off North will be transformed into a “restaurant with concert and event space.” [Crain’s]

River North: Eater got the scoop that BLT American Brasserie is planning to open in the former Brasserie Ruhlmann space. Interestingly, the New York concept hasn’t even opened yet in Manhattan, but the Chicago outlet still plans to be ready by “late fall.” [Eater]

River North: Well, this didn’t take long. We just learned this morning that former Pops for Champagne executive chef, Matt Riordan, had decided to relocate to Saigon Sisters. Now the 312 Dining Diva claims that Luke Creagan will soon be the executive chef at Pops. Creagan just came off a stint at Bonsoiree. [312 Dining Diva]

Lincoln Park: Franks ‘n Dawgs already creates many of its sausages in house, but thus far they’ve all been the fresh kind. That all may change soon, as Kevin Pang reports that the acclaimed stand will start a charcuterie program after this weekend. [Kevinthepang/Twitter]
