As the Chronicle reports, The 3rd Annual San Francisco Street Food Festival, which takes place next Saturday, August 20, in the Mission, promises to be bigger and better than ever, and hopefully more streamlined. Slated with 70 vendors, this year’s fest is ten times larger than the first event.

To alleviate long lines and the general disarray that occurred during the previous two years, the fest has been allotted with increased street space, taking place along Folsom Street from 22nd to 26th streets. Seating will be set up on 23rd, 24th, and 25th between Treat and Shotwell. Vendors will also be limiting their food choices while increasing their stock, ideally resulting in quicker service. Additionally, no credit cards will be accepted.

As previously advised, get there early for the best grub! [Chron]
