Lechasseur dishing it out

This in from the vegan food desk: Seed Bistro, an offshoot of Eric Lechasseur’s casual Seed Kitchen, is slated to open in the former Bimi space on Wilshire Blvd. later this month (yes, that means Bimi has, indeed, shuttered). While the new bistro will focus on the same vegan and macrobiotic fare the original is known for—vegetarian sushi, salads, faux gras—the intimate space will include a six-seater chef’s table for nightly tasting menus.
The bistro also plans to serve beer and wine by the glass and bottle, a nice change from the original, which sounds a lot more grown up than vegan kid’s happy meals.
