Martha & Bros. Coffee, which opened its eighth local location last year at 10th and Mission, has quietly been changing the name and branding of half of their locations this year, including that new one, to Cumaica Coffee. As a rep for the company tells us, the coffee remains the same, but the company wanted to avoid becoming too chain-like, and they decided to mix things up a bit. There also appears to be some division of management duties between the brands within the family-owned company. [Grub Street]
