It has not been a very good year for Jerry Kleiner. When the 33 Club closed back in May, it was the third establishment he partly owned that was closed by the state for unpaid taxes. (Red Light and Gioco both closed in March, though the latter eventually reopened a month later.) If that weren’t enough, Crain’s reports that one of his partners at 33 Club is suing him for fraud and breach of fiduciary duty. For what it’s worth, Kleiner explains that there “will be a countersuit.” [Crain’s]
