To date, Godfather’s Pizza can only be found in far-flung places in California, like a truck stop in Barstow, an East Bay town called Newark, and on a Bay Area air force base. Until now, that is. We see L.A.’s very first location of Godfather’s is setting up shop in Palms (Mario Puzo-style signage and all) in the former home of Johnnie’s New York Pizzeria, stuck in the strip mall where Kabab Grill lives.
We can’t confirm this particular branch was part of the plan former CEO and current Presidential hopeful Herman Cain put into action to bring the business back to profit, but we are pretty sure the pizza here is no Pitfire or Stella Rossa. Godfather’s promises to open next week.
