Earlier this summer, we told you about the Ritz’s ritzy new Avery Bar and shared their menu. At the time, plans for a new or refurbished hotel restaurant were still in the works. Now it seems that Jer-Ne, the Ritz’s current restaurant that’s been closed since June, will definitely be replaced.
Adam’s Hospitality notes that the new spot will be called Artisan and will feature “approachable artisanal cooking” with a menu showcasing what’s “fresh and locally available” throughout the year. This sounds as predictable as “farm to table” cooking … yet we’ve heard very good things about Avery Bar, so we’ll reserve judgment and hope for the best. The new spot opens next month.
