Coda was a favorite haunt of Paul Rinkulis, the much-loved founder of South End Baseball who passed away a few weeks ago. To honor his memory, Coda’s introduced a tasty Pitcher’s Mound Punch. It’s made with raspberry and citrus vodka, coconut and Malibu rum, and grapefruit, pineapple, lemon, and lime juice. Sounds dangerous, right? No need to feel guilty imbibing, though, since all proceeds from each drink ($9 a glass, or $28 for a carafe) go toward South End Baseball, helping kids from neighboring communities learn about teamwork and fair play … ahem, not about drinking refreshing alcoholic beverages.
