If you haven’t been to Daniel Patterson’s fine dining flagship, Coi, recently, you’ll be in for a surprise. Over the last several months he’s reconfigured what used to be the lounge area of the restaurant into a new, more casual dining room with hardwood floors and fur-covered banquettes. And in the last few weeks, the finishing touches were completed on the new door and entryway, which Patterson described as a “luminous glass box,” bringing in more light from the street.
Also, you may recall that the restaurant recently scaled back to serving four nights a week, Wednesday through Saturday, and they have a new pastry chef — Matt Tinder, formerly of Meadowood and Saison.
