Today, Bon Appétit names 2011’s best new American restaurants (via restaurant editor Andrew Knowlton), which will run in the September issue of the magazine. Guess who’s right up there at number two? Mission Chinese Food. It’s no surprise to those of us who frequent the place (or live off its delivery set-up) — nor is it any shock that it places high on the list. Knowlton calls it, “…some of the most out-of-this-world creative (and seriously delicious) Sichuan-inspired dishes in America right now.” With the fever pitch of attention the place is getting these days, lines can only get longer.
