David Chang Is Still Not Shy

It probably won't be pretty, but he's going to tell you a story.

The image of David Chang reading you a bedtime story might not sound so … soothing. But that he will do, along with Padma Lakshmi and Gail Simmons, as part of “MOTH Eaten: Adventures in Food.” The Moth, a nonprofit dedicated to the art of storytelling, invites literary-hungry guests to come to the Great Hall at Cooper Union (7 East 7th Street) on Tuesday, September 13, to hear ten-minute-long stories from famous foodies, onstage, with no notes. Chang’s will, no doubt, have a lot of swears and steal the show. Tickets can be purchased online.
