We’re a bit behind in hearing about the wonders of Paulie’s Pickling, the pickle purveyor and sandwich counter inside 331 Cortland in Bernal Heights. But this week Bernalwood shouts from their Edwardian rooftops that this place has “some of the finest Jewish deli sandwiches and sides one is likely to find this side of Crown Heights.” That’s saying a lot! They boast their own pickled herring, and a brisket and liver sandwich, and given the dearth of good Jewish deli around here, we’re so there. [Bernalwood]
