The days of Chicago barbecue being synonymous with sweet, fall-off-the-bone ribs are over. So, when Grub Street counted down the 101 best places to get big-city barbecue, we got our fair share of picks, including Smoque BBQ, Lillie’s Q, Honey 1 BBQ, and Uncle John’s BBQ. Unfortunately, even those four can’t fully represent the thriving barbecue renaissance that we are currently in.
