Yet More Southern Food Shows Up in Brooklyn

Some jazz with your fried chicken?
Some jazz with your fried chicken?

Hey, Brooklynites: Have you not yet gotten your fill of Southern-leaning cuisine from Buttermilk Channel, or Seersucker, or Char No. 4, or Brooklyn Star, or egg, or Pies-n-Thighs, or the Smoke Joint, or the Commodore, or even Vinegar Hill House? Or maybe you just live in Clinton Hill and aren’t particularly close to any of those spots? Well then we’ve got some good news, because there’s now another spot to get “Southern Fused Cuisine” in King’s County: Soco, at 509 Myrtle Avenue. Zagat says the spot’s got live music, which could be nice. And we all know there’s no such thing as too much fried chicken. Anybody been yet? [Zagat Buzz]
