
One of the city’s longest-running foodie fundraisers kicks off for its 37th year this Saturday. “>The Concern Foundation’s Block Party will take place at Hollywood’s Paramount Studios, with tastings from over 50 restaurants, spirit makers, and caterers and help from Los Angeles magazine. The affair almost kinda of bridges the best parts of L.A. Times’ Festival of Food and Wine (fortunately not that much) and Taste of Beverly Hills, in that it’s held at Paramount Studios New York-style backlot, like the former, and features mostly Westside restaurants, like the latter. In addition, there will be four stages of bands, ten bars, a casino, and a silent auction with 150 packages.
