You know when you start to get a little peckish out on your boat, but you can’t find anywhere to dock and get dinner? What a pain! Well, that’s all going to change this weekend, as Urban Daddy announced that Quay Restaurant & Bar is soft-opening this week in Streeterville. Right by a branch of the Chicago River, Quay is taking over the former DeLaCosta space, and will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the opening, besides the business of being able to dock your own boat, is just how massive it is. Quay will feature seating for roughly 400 people in its main bar, dining room, and solarium.

The menu was created by executive chef Nolan Narut, who formerly worked as sous chef at David Burke’s Primehouse. The dinner menu includes a mix of flatbreads, sushi, salads, and solid American-style entrees. Most of those items are repeated on the lunch menu, but there is also a sandwich section and a greater emphasis on the restaurant’s raw bar. Check out both below.
