Last Friday Steve Dolinsky said goodbye to his 18-month-old WBEZ blog, announcing that it was “time for a change.” He plans to return to the blogging game by Labor Day with a “completely overhauled stevedolinsky.com website.” Though we’ll miss his top five lists and video broadcasts from foreign locales, we are glad to see that WBEZ wasted no time finding a great replacement. Louisa Chu is writing the already pretty amazing Movable Feast: Chicago. (We are particularly loving the most recent post about the strange coincidence of Next’s Tour of Thailand and the closing of Trader Vic’s.) She’s already a celebrated food writer, whom you may also recognize from a certain episode of Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations. We’ll definitely miss having the Hungry Hound around for the summer, but this seems like a decent trade.
