While en route to a fundraiser Park Hyatt at the Bellevue yesterday, President Barack Obama took an unscheduled detour in South Philly. And no, unlike every other political hack that blows through this burg, it wasn’t to stop off for a cheesesteak. Instead the leader of the free world pulled over at 7th and Christian to cool off with a lemon water ice from John’s Water Ice. “Outstanding,” is how the President described it, according to action news. “I strongly recommend it.” [Action News]
