Castro: First there was Curbside, then Le Truc, now a third truck has gotten a permit in a gas station lot in the Castro: Smoke BBQ. They’ll be at the ARCO station, diagonally across from the Chevron where Curbside parks, at Castro and Market, Wednesday through Saturday. [Tablehopper]
Upper Haight: Burger Urge (1599 Haight Street), which we broke the news about last week, is the pet project of Jack Mogannam, the cousin (not the uncle) of Bi-Rite owner Sam Mogannam. Burgers will be Niman Ranch, there will be an indoor fireplace, and they’re aiming for late October. [Eater, Earlier]
Marina: Cedar Hill, which we previously noted will be taking over the Noodle Theory space at 3242 Scott Street, will in fact serve a “dressed-up version of Southern food and barbecue.” Chef Jon Rietz, most recently of Memphis Minnie’s, is bringing in a proper smoker from Texas. [Scoop]

SoMa: The Bacon Bacon Truck launched today in SoMa (63 Bluxome between 4th and 5th), serving stuff like grilled cheese with tomato and bacon jam, and spicy belly fries topped with pork belly trimmings. [SFist, Earlier]
Mission: Arabian Nights (2345 Mission) originally intended as a hookah lounge/café when we first reported on it last year, is now open, but clearly it won’t be doing any of that hookah stuff. [Tablehopper]
Berkeley: Adagia (2700 Bancroft), the Cal-Med place right on the edge of the Cal campus, is angling to start a cocktail program, and has put in for a full liquor license. [Grub Street]
