If you haven’t yet made it to Micah Wexler’s Mezze, tomorrow night might be the ideal evening to go and take advantage of a one-night $55 five-course pre-fixe. The modern Middle Eastern restaurant (that keeps adventurous diners supplied through an outstanding embrace of offal) is teaming up with CaliVirgin Olive Oil (our state oil-makers sure are making a big push these days) for a big meal. Sort of like your typical farmer’s dinner, Wexler will highlight the oil in dishes like veal cheek confit with sweetbreads and an olive oil semolina cake with olive oil gelato, while the family that owns CaliVirgin patiently attempts to answers your silly questions about their product. Tables are currently available from 6:00 to 11:00 by making reservations at 310-657-4103. But first, check out the full menu Wexler is serving below.
