McCrossen’s Dabbles In the Tastes of Spain

McCrossen’s Tavern on 20th Street, just below Spring Garden, will dish up the flavors of Spain tonight for the inaugural voyage of its monthly Wine/Cheese/Food Pairings series. Staring at 6:30, chef Townsend Wentz along with general manager and sommelier Lauren Harris will present a selection of Spanish cheeses from DiBruno Bros. and a series of Spanish-inspired dishes, including a watermelon, black olive, cucumber salad with ricotta salata; fried Patron peppers; and boquerones with Spanish green olives paired with a selection of wines from Spain for $32.
