So what exactly is going on in our foodiesphere? The food trucks seem to be dropping like flies, Solomonov and Cook have sold Xochitl, and now comes word that Matt Levin is moving on from Adsum, the popular Queen Village restaurant he opened a little more than a year ago. The Insider reports that the restaurant will remain in good hands after he hangs up his toque on July 24. Sous chef Rah Shabazz, who’s been on the line with Levin since Adsum opened, will step up to chef and operating partner Kar Vivekananthan will continue on in his role. Levin, who reportedly is focusing on other prospects, will continue to have a ownership stake in the restaurant. [Insider]
