Island Creek Debuts F&W-Inspired Menu

Local bivalve baronness Erin Byers Murray, soon to release a memoir about her time spent working at Island Creek Oyster farm in Duxbury, penned an oyster ode in August’s Food & Wine. As such, Island Creek Oyster Bar plans to debut a new menu on Monday to highlight dishes featured in the piece.

Included in the “Summer in Duxbury” lineup:

Island Creek Oysters with Rosé Mignonette

Local Tomato & Pearl Pasta Salad with Arugula Pesto

Creamy Oyster Stew with Fennel and Toasted Brown Bread

Steamed Hot Dog with Green Tomato Relish

Steamed Maine Lobster with Lemon Thyme Butter

Warm Grilled Corn Salad with Pancetta and Red Pepper

Marinated Mushrooms with Smoky Onions

The regular menu is also still available; the special menu lasts until August 21.
