Local bivalve baronness Erin Byers Murray, soon to release a memoir about her time spent working at Island Creek Oyster farm in Duxbury, penned an oyster ode in August’s Food & Wine. As such, Island Creek Oyster Bar plans to debut a new menu on Monday to highlight dishes featured in the piece.

Creamy Oyster Stew with Fennel and Toasted Brown Bread

Warm Grilled Corn Salad with Pancetta and Red Pepper
Marinated Mushrooms with Smoky Onions
The regular menu is also still available; the special menu lasts until August 21.
