Want to find the best knish? Want to find somewhere that has knishes at all? That’s the promise of FoodGenius, a new app for Android and iPhone which has now launched in Chicago. Claiming a database of 4000 restaurants and 150,000 dishes, FoodGenius was developed as part of Excelerate Labs’ Summer 2011 program for startups and entrepreneurs. All that looks good and sounds nice, but most of the time the real question isn’t who has a dish at all, but who has the best one— and that may have to wait for real people to start using FoodGenius and populating it with actual human content.
