Mr. I-Punched-Rick-James himself, Charlie Murphy, is in town doing some sets at Cobb’s Comedy Club through Sunday, July 24, and the Feast got him on the horn to talk about his favorite places to eat in S.F. “I know that this town has more restaurants than any other city in America and 95% of them are fabulous,” he says, “so whenever I come here that’s what I want to do.” He digs on Farmerbrown, and *loves* Crustacean (“I go there and I go hard.”) Also, he’s quite impressed with our hotel restaurants in general, and in particular, the one-year-old Bourbon Steak. “I like red meat, you know — I go hard with that,” he says.
