
Some Financial District eating and drinking news this a.m.: Darren Matte, the managing partner in The Brick Yard in the Marina, is looking to open a new bar-restaurant called Per Diem in the Chancery Building at 564 Market Street (between Montgomery and Sansome). Details are few at this point, but if the Brick Yard is any indication, it will be a sports-friendly sort of establishment with burgers and pizzas and the like. This opening is likely a few months out, and will involve a substantial remodel. File under: Developing.
