Ahmed Wali Karzai, Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s half-brother, was assassinated today. Normally, we don’t concern ourselves with such serious matters, but we were just reminded that Ahmed also happened to run a successful restaurant in Chicago during the 90s. We wrote about the strange connection last year, finding that Phil Vettel had even reviewed the place. [WGN]
