Carroll Gardens’ Mason-jar-margaritas and fajitas spot 5 Burro Cafe, the just barely one-year-old outpost of the Forest Hills original, has closed for good, says a worker at the restaurant. Yesterday the restaurant’s awning was removed; two weeks ago, 5 Burro had been flagged with a number of critical violations by the Health Department, yet allegedly stayed open. Seems to be a trend.
