Cotogna’s hardly been hurting for fans since they opened last fall — it remains one of the hardest reservations in town to get, and probably will be for at least the rest of year — but they’re now going to be opening up on Sunday evenings for prix fixe, family-style dinners, with a weekly changing menu. The price range will be $40 to $50, and you’ll want to make reservations at 415.775.8508. Also note that the regular menu won’t be available

Sunday, June 12

Torta al Testo: Flatbread filled with prosciutto, crescenza cheese and arugula; Warm marinated olives

Minestra di ceci: garlic, rosemary and prawn frittelle

Porchetta della casa: wild fennel and wood roasted Kashiwase Farm peaches

Zuppa inglese: strawberries and amaro meletti

$40 per person
