The Libertine Nightlife Group’s Saint Felix is doubling down this Thursday with a new Hollywood location housed in the former Citizen Smith on Cahuenga Blvd. The room has been retooled by designer Troy Silva, who has stripped the place down and added curious playthings like a projection of burlesque dancers on two huge globes and art installations on the walls, including a painting called “The Angry Nun” hanging over the threshold. What else?

The restaurant opens out into L.A.’s first manifestation of the “Green Alley Initiative” that finds grimy gullies transformed into a landscaped, paved public walkway. There will be al fresco dining aside this courtyard, while inside, antique hand-colored tin ceiling tiles from New York form one of the walls.

Chef Brian Vaccarella will prepare small plates like Morrocan chicken cups, pan-seared maple chili salmon, and ahi sliders with wasabi cream, while a huge emphasis is placed, naturally, on the popular cocktails served by its older sister, as well as a late-night happy hour. Catch the opening this Thursday at 5:00 P.M.
