We don’t exactly know much about EL, the new project by Meatyballs owner, Phillip Foss. He claims that it be “ELusive” and a “rebEL,” with a focus on “ELevated ideas.” About all we know for certain is that it will serve a “limited chef’s menu,” be small, and will be very hard to get to (corner of 14th and S. Western Ave, anyone?). Foss told us that he’ll finalize the details on the reservation system later this week, and that more concrete details will follow. But if you’re in the mood to take a big chance, you can experience the restaurant for yourself tonight.
The chef just tweeted that you can get a sneak peek of EL tonight at 6 p.m. The meal will be free, and the only limitations are that you shouldn’t have any dietary restrictions and that reviews are prohibited. You better hurry up; seating is very limited. E-mail him at this address.
