Just as promised, Georges Perrier opened his Art of Bread yesterday in Narberth. The new cafe and bakery at 920 Montgomery Ave. was reportedly mobbed all day with patrons anxious to get the first bites of Le Bec-Fin’s Executive Pastry Chef Cedric Barberet’s croissants, baguettes and other baked goods. “So much for a soft opening,” a Perrier rep. told Grub Street. In addition to its daily selection of fresh baked pastries and breads, the new spot offers coffee, salads and sandwiches.
