Remember when Pasticceria Natalina closed unexpectedly last month, even though its lease ran until September? The Feast reports that its name and critically adored pastries are still gone, but that owner Natalie Zarzour has reopened the storefront — simply called 5406 N Clark, after its address — as a surprisingly affordable gelato shop. She’s not making desserts herself, instead using the Palazzolo’s brand. Still, she endorses the product, and is selling a small cup for only $2. Just don’t get too used to this: the shop still plans to close when the original lease runs out. [The Feast]
