Andersonville: Lady Gregory’s, a self-proclaimed “upscale Irish bar and restaurant,” officially opened last night after a soft opening over the weekend. Its menu [PDF] features the usual collection of bar food, including sandwiches, salads, and burgers, along with the obligatory fancy mac and cheese. We’re more excited about the planned 300 different bottles of whiskey. [Urban Daddy]

South Loop: Sloopin reports that a sign for a new spot called Waffles has popped up. Though we are excited thanks to the name alone, it is also interesting that its e-mail address is same as the one associated with Japonais (alex@japonaischicago.com). [Sloopin]

South Loop: We knew it was very close, and now it’s finally here. Pita Heaven just opened, and you can check out its full menu here. [Eater]

Uptown: A reader for the Uptown Update reports that a new Mexican restaurant called Roquito’s is close to opening. It is located in a former CTA storefront, which used to also be an Express Corner. [Uptown Update]
