Tonight Eastern Standard celebrates the second annual launch for Pretty Thing’s American Darling, a “good time lager” released each summer. And Brookline Booksmith hosts a dudes party!
We’re told that ES will be the first restaurant to have the beer and the only restaurant to serve it until the middle of next week. Tonight, they’re celebrating the refreshing brew with a picnic-inspired party. Chef Jeremy Sewall will whip up a “picnic menu” of small plates, complete with full pours for sale, samples, and a smattering of complimentary bar snacks. The fete begins at 5 p.m.
Down the road a bit in Brookline, Fork Lift notes that Brookline Booksmith hosts a literary tailgate featuring free beer (of course!) and readings from “dude approved” books. Bring your ID!
