Lincoln Square: It’s already home to some of the best sausage in the city, and now the new outlet of Gene’s Sausage Shop has a rooftop beer garden. But there’s far more than just beer available, as it will also be offering a range of grilled sausages and sides. Check out the full menu here. [Urban Daddy]

River North: Though Bistro Voltaire had planned on opening with Paris chef Claudine Hubert in the kitchen, an unnamed “personal emergency” has changed plans. Instead, the restaurant, which is set to open in early July, has brought in Colin Beaumier as executive chef. It could very well change, but a preview menu seems to be available — if you happen to read French. [Grub Street]

River North: From July 14 through 16, Gene & Georgetti will celebrate its 70th anniversary with “throwback dinners,” with portions of the proceeds going to charity. The 4-course menu, which includes two cocktails, only costs $15.25 per person. Reservations are required, so call this number to get a spot: 312-527-3718. [Grub Street]
