Food Deserts Shrink by 39%; Is Chili’s Trying to Get Rid of Waiters?

• Chicago’s food deserts are actually shrinking: according to a study by Mari Gallagher Research and Consulting Group, the number of Chicagoans living in neighborhoods with poor access to fruits and vegetables has decreased by 39 percent in the past five years. [Trib]
