While one recent royal wedding didn’t deign to provide its guests with lunch, Prince Albert of Monaco and his bride-to-be, Charlene Wittstock, have grander plans for their nuptials: a dinner by Alain Ducasse. The French chef (who became a Monaco citizen three years ago) told the Associated Press he’ll fix a meal “like the essence of the Mediterranean Sea, its tastes, its smells and its colors … fresh line-caught fish, garden vegetables and fruits for dessert.” Must be nice to have world-renowned chefs catering your wedding — we can only think of one person around these parts who knows anything about that.
